We encounter Jesus through our contemporary worship, times of prayer, fellowship, sermons, and service.
Share His Love
We share his love do this throughout our weekend services, our weekly events, our Connect Groups, and out in our communities.
Transform the World
When we encounter Jesus and share His love, it is inevitable that we transform the world in our life, ministry, work, home, and everything we do.
Every church has its own practices and beliefs that make it different from other churches. Some might see this and conclude that the Church is divided, but we believe instead that the Church is diverse. Wellspring embraces this and believes that appreciating the uniqueness of each church gives a fuller, clearer picture of the depth and breadth of what the Bible calls ‘the Body of Christ’. So at our core, Wellspring is simply a Christian church made up of people from many different backgrounds, united in our love of Jesus and our beliefs in a few, fundamental doctrines.
Wellspring Worship Center is united in believing these fundamental doctrines:
There is one God who exists forever in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is God’s message to us. It is the authoritative source that teaches us about God and how to live.
Humanity was created by God for the purpose of being in relationship with Him, but because of sin (wrongdoing), right relationship with God is broken, and people are powerless to restore this relationship.
The only hope for people to be in right relationship with God is to believe in the Savior (rescuer) Jesus Christ, and to accept that He is in authority over their lives. Jesus Christ was born to a virgin (Mary), died to take upon Himself the punishment for the sin of mankind, and rose from the dead. By receiving Him as our Savior and Lord, we are able to live forever in a love relationship with God.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit lives in and with those people who accept Christ’s gift of right relationship. He helps them know and love God, and live a life that is pleasing to Him.
The Christian Church is in a unique and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. It is composed of all those around the world who trust in Him for a right relationship with God. They are made alive by the Holy Spirit living in them. The mission of the Church is to love God, and to love other people. This includes pointing them to the Savior, Jesus Christ, and helping them follow Him.
